Software Engineering Intern January 2024 - May 2024

Launched a distributed system that receives 120+ terabytes of images per month for Computer Vision Scanning Team.
Utilized a Python distributed task queue with Redis Message Broker and worker pods to process images for 5K cameras.
Used Python and computer vision library OpenCV to auto blur faces in images to comply with data privacy laws.
Scaled system and infrastructure with Kubernetes and added monitoring/logging with Sentry, Splunk, and Prometheus.

Software Engineering Intern May 2023 - August 2023

Implemented a feature on Driver App backend that gets 60K queries per second, resulting in 50% increased productivity.
Worked on microservices in Golang, Kafka, SQL and created a new HTTP streaming pipeline to send updates to drivers.
Used multiple threads and Go routines to reduce latency, increase code performance, and distribute code execution.
